IDC: China's new tablet shipments reached 33.76 million in 2025, up 13.1% YoY
International Data Corporation ("IDC") released 2025 China tablet market report. In terms of market structure, the consumer market benefited from device upgrades and government subsidies, resulting in a 14.4% year-on-year increase in shipments. Mainstream price segments saw a price increase of RMB500 due to device upgrades and manufacturers' active expansion into mid-to-high-end product lines. The commercial market faced some pressure due to relatively fixed application scenarios for tablets in certain industries and the lack of new demand, leading to a 1.6% year-on-year decrease in shipments. In 2025, Huawei, Apple, and Xiaomi remained the top three manufacturers in China, with market shares of 29.2%, 24.5%, and 13.1%, respectively.
